These groups meet for one hour in various places on the campus. All the groups are for both men and women. The groups are divided by the subject matter being studied. Some groups use the "Explore the Bible" from LifeWay. This is a Book-by-book study of the Bible for groups of all ages. Check out the link to LifeWay above for particulars.
Other groups use the "Bible Studies for Life" curriculum from LifeWay. This is a practical study about answering life's greatest needs. We all need Jesus to meet us right were we are. This study shows how the Bible meets our lives and needs.
Still other groups go through the Books of the Bible in a systematic approach to Bible Study. Whatever your preference, come check out Bible study on Sunday morning. All groups are discussion groups led with a facilitator.
As Christians, the Bible, along with God's Holy Spirit, is to be our guide for life. Daily we need to search God's truth for how to live, as well as how to become more and more like Christ. God's Word is "living and active." (Hebrews 4:12)
Furthermore, it is adults who shape the world, for good or ill, and it is adult Christians who are called to be salt and light in a dying world. It is adults who vote. It is adults who work and who control the governments, schools, corporations, unions, social groups, charities, and other institutions of our society. It is adults who are called to actively disciple their own families. It is adults who decide the church's priorities and budgets. To teach adults is to be on the firing line of Christian ministry and social change. We must know and do the will of God which is only found by studying His word to us which is the Bible.
